If you enjoy fast-paced, Sci-Fi thrillers and murder-mysteries, Surrogates is sure to be a great surprise at a time when most films are putting minimal time and effort into fleshing out a story.
Bruce Willis and Radha Mitchell play FBI agents investigating the destruction of two surrogates and the operators who were connected to them, which up until then has never been possible.
When people use a surrogate to be anyone they want to be, how can you know who you are talking to or what their ulterior motives are?
Synopsis
People are living their lives from the safety of their homes via robotic surrogates –sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. It’s an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences don’t exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer discovers aast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery.
