In 2019, Beijing’s Haidian District plans to build 40 intelligent communities. Now, the first one has been built at the Ganjiakou Community.
The Ganjiakou Community with two buildings was built in the 1990s, and like other old communities, there were many problems in entrance guarding, parking and property management at the Ganjiakou Community.
To solve the problems, Haidian District launched a project to build 40 intelligent communities this year, and the Ganjiakou Community is one of them.
Currently, the old community has been equipped with a high-tech feel. Face recognition access control systems have been installed at the entrances of buildings and residents have seven choices like scanning face, taping a card, scanning a QR code and making a phone call to enter buildings.
The security room has been built into a smart central control office, with the display screens playing the surveillance videos at the community in real time on the wall.
It is learned that more than 70 cameras with face recognition, license plate recognition and environmental analysis functions have been installed at the community, and the videos the cameras capture will be transmitted to the smart central control office for further analytical judgement.
“For example, there is a “wandering alarm” function in the area in front of buildings. That is to say, if someone stays in this area for more than three minutes, an alarm will be triggered at the central control office, and security personnel will take timely measures.”a staff member in charge introduced.
