Beijing builds Asia’s biggest reuse water wetland park

The construction of “China • Water Valley”, Asia’s biggest reuse water wetland park, kicked off at the former address of Banbidian Village, Chaoyang District, Beijing on May 5, 2019.

With a total area of 638,000 square meters, the wetland park will consist of green area of 388,000 square meters, and wetland and water areas of 160,000 square meters.

This park will have the highest use ratio of recycled water in China, with the maximum flowing water of 500,000 tons per day.

This park will also become China’s largest one to apply the Sponge City concept, according to Wang Jiawei, an official from Beijing Drainage Group Co.Ltd.
