Beijing’s Huairou-Miyun railway opens to traffic on April 30

The whole line of Huairou-Miyun railway, a suburb railway in Beijing, opened to traffic at wee hours on April 30, 2019, according to Beijing Railway Bureau of China Railway.

The 135.6-km-long Huairou-Miyun line starts at Huangtudian Station in Changping District and ends at Gubeikou Station in Miyun District.

It has a total of six stations, besides the above two stations, the other four stations are Changping North Station, Fangezhuang Station, Huairou North Station and Heishan Temple.

This line’s opening will link together the tourism resources along it, like Yanqi Lake, Hongluo Temple, Survival Island, Qinglong Gorge, Heilong Pond, Simatai Section of the Great Wall, Gubei Water Township etc.
