It is estimated that about 6,400 flights will take off and land at Beijing Capital International Airport during the May Day holiday from May 1 to May 4, 2019, according to data released by North China Air Traffic Management Bureau.
According to statistics, trips to traditional tourist hot spots are in great demand, like trips to East China, Northeast China, Southwest China and Sanya city in China’s Hainan Province.
In addition, Zhuhai city of China’s Guangdong Province and Dunhuang city in China’s Gansu Province become new hot destinations.
As for outbound tourism, Southeast Asia and Japan are first choices. So far, for some hot air lines, only full fare economy class seats are left.
