The 12th Pantaogong cultural temple fair opened at Ming Dynasty City Wall Relics Park of Donghuashi Subdistrict of Dongcheng District in Beijing on April 2, 2019.

With the theme of “Reliving old stories at Donghuashi Subdistrict and striving for development in new era”, the fair showcases great changes in the Huashi area and progress in residents’ lives.

During the fair, cultural welfare performances and cultural community performances were given and various exhibitions were held to display intangible cultural heritages, old Beijing objects collected from residents and traditional Beijing snacks.

This year, the fair was broadcast live on Weibo and the VR experience of Huashi Community Museum was launched for the first time. The fair will last from April 2 to 4.

To inherit traditional Chinese culture and enrich community residents’ cultural life, the Pantaogong cultural temple fair was reopened by the Donghuashi Subdistrict in 2007.
