A night school for cultivating property management staff in streets and alleys opened at the Laoqianggen Community of Guang’anmennei Subdistrict of Xicheng District in Beijing on the evening of March 18, 2019.
As a pioneering property management training model in the district, the night school received more than 80 staff members from the subdistrict’s property management agencies as its first group of students.
According to statistics, there are nearly 10,000 property management personnel in Xicheng District, most of whom are between 30 and 50 years old. In terms of positions, they can be roughly divided into three categories: patrol personnel in charge of inspecting environmental sanitation and public security, contact personnel mainly responsible for communicating with residents and maintenance personnel.
The property management work in streets and alleys is mostly carried out around residents’ life. The opening of property management courses at the night school is in line with the city’s meticulous management, aiming to provide better services to the residents at old communities, said the principal of the night school.
