World leading accounting firm Deloitte recently released the 2018 Technology Fast 50 China report, and Beijing has 12 companies on the list of the fastest growing high-tech companies in China in 2018, ranking first among participating cities.
The overall revenue of listed companies has increased by 5,334 percent, an increase of 79.1 percent from 2016.
The listed companies are mainly distributed in first-tier or quasi-first-tier cities. The software industry has the largest number of companies, 18 companies, followed by 16 Internet companies. Emerging industries of logistics services, smart manufacturing, and life sciences have achieved the zero breakthrough on the list.
In 2018, a “Strategic cooperation agreement for the innovative development of the service industry in Chaoyang District” was signed between the government of Chaoyang District and Deloitte. According to the agreement, the Chaoyang District government shall set up a platform and Deloitte shall provide counselling about investment, mergers and acquisitions, and listing and financing for the enterprises of the service industry in the district so as to enhance enterprises’ market competitiveness and innovative development and help construct a regional high-grade, precision and advanced industrial structure.
