Beijing Trade Mission signs deals over $7.2 billion

Beijing Trade Mission has signed deals worth of over 50 billion yuan (about 7.2 billion U. S. dollars) at its theme event “Beijing’s Opening-up, Unlimited Business Opportunities” at the China International Import Expo held in Shanghai on November 6, 2018.

The theme event attracted about 200 visitors from over ten national missions, like the UK, Switzerland, Finland, Serbia and Peru, and more than 20 trans-national companies such as Tesla, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Bayer and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

The theme event released mainly Beijing’s future major planning and procurement needs, including Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Expo 2019 Beijing and Beijing Fintech innovation demonstration area.

On the event, a batch of contracts were signed onsite including commodity purchase, services procurement and Winter Olympics project purchasing with a total deal value of over 50 billion yuan.
