Beijing Huanwei Group has recently launched seven types of driverless sanitation vehicles. The pure electric vehicles with zero emission and zero pollution can complete the workload of 10 to 20 sanitation workers each.
The seven types include four outdoor operation ones, which will be mainly used for outdoor road cleaning at squares, parks, industrial parks, sidewalks, neighborhoods, communities, airports and high-speed railway stations, and three indoor operation ones, which will be mainly used for indoor floor cleaning at shopping malls, high-speed railway stations, airports, stadiums and exhibition halls.
The upper part of the driverless sanitation vehicles is made of new materials such as lightweight aluminum alloy, which can minimize the vehicle’s weight and improve its driving mileage. The vehicles can run for 90 kilometers to ensure six-hour full-load operation after a two- to three-hour charging.
