Beijing has embraced 11.15 million tourists, up 2.6 percent year-on-year, generating 12.4 billion yuan (about 1.8 billion U.S. dollars) tourist revenue, an increase of 7.8 percent, with 1,114 yuan spending per capita during 2018 National Day Holiday, one of China’s Golden Weeks.
During October 1-7, Beijing’s 176 key-monitored scenic spots have seen 12.85 million tourists and got 425 million yuan revenue.
Among them, the top ten receiving the most tourists are as follows:
Shichahai scenic area,
the Summer Palace,
the Palace Museum,
Badaling section of the Great Wall,
Yuanmingyuan Park, Beijing Zoo,
Tiantan (Temple of Heaven) Park,
the Fun Capital Holiday Plaza.
