On the morning of September 26, Beijing’s first business license applied via WeChat was printed, marking the launching of the city’s first WeChat business licensing service platform.
As a new way for domestic limited companies to apply for business licenses on phone, the platform “Xianfeng e registration” is a useful attempt to explore the new model of “mobile Internet + business registration” by Beijing Fengtai Administration for Industry and Commerce.
Currently, the platform opens login and registration, identity authentication, business filing and progress inquiry functions. Individuals or companies can log in the platform and apply for a license accordingly after following the WeChat account of “Xianfeng e registration”, entering an electronic intelligent system, typing the identity card number, phone number and other information and getting a verification code.
Compared with traditional ways of business licensing, the platform features automatic identity authentication, simple application procedure and paperless registration. Following a model of “WeChat application + direct registration”, it has achieved a 24-hour smart way of business registration without meeting and paper.
“In the past, when applying for a business license, applicants had to download an identity authentication APP on a computer and the identity authentication and application were only processed between 8:00 and 18:00 of working days,” an official from Beijing Fengtai Administration for Industry and Commerce introduced. “Now the platform allows applicants to directly fill in the basic information like registration capital, location and key personnel, conduct business confirmation and sign via WeChat anytime.
Now the platform can work on iOS and Android operating systems. It has become the most convenient way of business licensing for it allows the whole process to be completed within one working day.
