As of June 26, 2018, Fuxing (or Rejuvenation) high-speed train has run for one year since its debut on Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway on June 26, 2017, Beijing Bureau Group of China Railway Corporation, the train's operator, said Wednesday.
Beijing Bureau Group has operated over 47,300 Fuxing bullet trains and sent more than 28.6 million passengers since last June, which includes 5,436 trains and 36,801 trains running on Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway respectively.
In addition, a total of 121 pairs of Fuxing bullet trains that take Beijing as origin stop or last stop, will be newly added in accord with the new train diagram to take effect on July 1, 2018.
Beijing Bureau Group introduced mobile payment for train tickets and shopping, ordering food on Internet, entering train stations and getting on trains by automatic face-recognition system and other services have been provided since the operation of Fuxing bullet trains.
"Fuxing" trains are entirely designed and manufactured in China. The new bullet train boasts top speed of 400 kilometers an hour and a consistent speed of 350 kilometers an hour.
