Dragon Boat Racing held in Haidian to greet traditional festival

The 5th Dragon Boat Racing was held off the waters around Maizhong Bridge of the Kunyu River, Shuguang subdistrict, Haidian district of Beijing on June 13, 2018.

A total of 17 teams attend the traditional 300 meters’ straight line speed racing to greet the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 18 this year.

Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu, is celebrated annually on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
