A total of 49 trains will be added to meet passenger transportation need during the upcoming travel peak of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 15 to 18, 2018, according to Beijing Railway Administration’s plan.
Beijing’s three railway stations plan to add 31 trains, including 12 trains from Beijing Station bound for Tsitsihar, Hailar, Nanchang, Rizhao, Beidaihe, Dezhou, Tangshan, Changli, Qinghecheng, Shijiazhuang, Laiyuan and others, seven ones departing from Beijing West Station to Lanzhou, Zhengzhou, Fuyang, Handan, Qinghecheng and others, and Beijing South Station’s 12 trains to Ji’nan, Qingdao, Dezhou, Tianjin West and others.
Besides, Beijing Railway Administration will also dynamically increase passenger trains based on passenger flows during the festival. Related information will be issued timely on www.12306.cn, the website of China Railway Customer Service Center, and via broadcast and in-station notices of the railway stations.
Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, which falls on June 18 this year.
