The police of Xicheng District will provide college entrance examination candidates with over 100 exclusive and convenient parking spaces at 13 places, basically covering all test sites in the district, this year.
To achieve this, the police will take measures of encouraging all policemen to choose green commuting, arranging all police vehicles to patrol on streets and systematically developing official cars’ parking resources during the national college entrance exam (or gaokao) on June 7 and 8.
Sketch maps on parking spaces’ detailed information like location, parking number, and contact number are specially made by the police and released by major media to facilitate candidate families to plan their travel for exams in advance.
During the two days, candidates’ parents are allowed to park at the parking spaces from 7:00 till the end of exams after presenting an admission ticket or the ticket’s copy and photo.
It is learned that it is the seventh time that the police of Xicheng District has provided their own parking spaces to candidate families and arranged officers in charge during gaokao, in an effort to ease candidates’ parents’ difficulties in parking. The total number of exclusive and convenient parking spaces is expected to reach nearly 800, which serve more than 2,500 candidate families in seven years.
