22nd China International Software Expo to open in Beijing

The 22nd China International Software Expo will be held at Beijing Exhibition Center from June 29 to July 2, 2018.

One highlight of the Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Beijing Municipal People's Government, is its popularity, intelligentization and enjoyment, strengthening visitors’ sense of participation, experience and gain.

A sci-tech and innovation exhibition zone will be set up, displaying advanced technology. The exhibition zone itself is a sci-tech experience hall, with comprehensive applications of multiple high-tech achievements.

Three Dimension Holographic Display technology and means of contemporary art of space combine virtual characters and reality scenes, fully showing the beauty of modern technologies, and offering visitors more sense of gain in the interaction.

On this Expo, Beijing’s Haidian district will build a hall themed software serving people’s livelihood, focus on big data, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and other frontier fields, and present the applications of world’s latest and coolest technological products.

At the same time, software smart applications in daily life and living, city service, education, and medical service will be presented, which allows visitors to experience the changes brought by technology.

Besides, a series of international high level forums for global software industry’s development will be held, famous experts and scholars home and abroad, and entrepreneurs will be invited to discuss the deeply integrated development of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and real economy.

It is learnt that China’s software industry saw a business revenue of 5.5 trillion yuan(about 872 billion US dollars), with a total profits of 702 billion yuan in 2017.

And China’s information consumption amounted to 4.5 trillion yuan last year, making a contribution to the GDP growth by over 0.4 percentage.
