With the approach of the Leifeng’s Day on March 5, the sixth branch company of Beijing Public Transport Group held a series of activities on the theme of learning Lei Feng’s spirit.

Workers went to children’s welfare home of Fangshan District to donate supplies to those disabled children and volunteered to pick up rubbish along the river at Changyang Park to beautify the environment.

A total of 25 workers took part in the cleaning activity and 19 bags of rubbish were picked up. After the activity, a bus driver expressed that learning Lei Feng’s spirit should begin with doing little things around.

In addition, workers’ good deeds were praised by passers-by and they became a beautiful landscape along the river.

It is learned that the donating activity aims to pass on warmth to more people and the cleaning activity aims to call on more people to protect the environment and water resources.
