Beijing Public Transport Group will open five exclusive bus lines to serve the passengers returning to Beijing at Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station from February 20, the fifth day of the first lunar month in 2018.
Among them, four will run from Beijing South Railway Station with the starting stop located at the public transit hub in the north square and one will run from Beijing West Railway Station to Xueyuanlu and Zhongguancun, departing at the public transit hub in the north square of the railway station.
From February 20 to March 12, the ending day of the Spring Festival travel rush, two exclusive bus lines will be opened to run from Beijing South Railway Station to Tiantongyuan and Tongzhou between 8:00 and 24:00 every day.
The two lines will extend the operation time to 2:00 on the next day depending on night arrivals and two night lines bound for Sanyuanqiao and Gongzhufen will be opened during the peak period from February 20 to 24.
Passengers can enjoy a discount fare of 6.99 yuan (1.11 U.S. dollars) for the above four bus lines via booking an electronic ticket on the “Dingzhigongjiao” APP three days in advance. It is a reminder that each line will provide only 100 discounted tickets per day.
In addition, from February 20 to March 2, an exclusive bus line will also be opened to run from Beijing West Railway Station to Xueyuanlu and Zhongguancun between 23:30 and 2:30 on the next day.
