‘Beijing 2022 Inside Stories’ micro-videos go online

A series of micro-videos themed “Beijing 2022 Inside Stories” were officially launched on the official website of Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, according to the committee on January 9, 2018.

Planned and made by the committee’s functional departments and major media, the series of micro-videos is a news product vividly depicting the preparation process of Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the economic and social development of Beijing and Hebei, which aims to create a brand to promote the Winter Games via new media.

The videos will provide the public with authoritative, detailed, rich and vivid reports on the progress of preparation work on themes of the development of competition areas, sports work, venues’ construction, market development and cultural activities.

The committee will regularly release the micro-videos on its official website, Microblog, WeChat and other Internet platforms in Chinese and English. The first two micro-videos online tell interesting stories about the environmental-friendly construction method of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Guanting Reservoir Grand Bridge linking two host cities of the Games and the costumes of figure skating competitions respectively.
