A total of 224 advertising plaques will be removed along the road from Xidan North Street to Xisi South Street of Xicheng District in Beijing by the end of November, and Xicheng District will replan them in 2018, according to the West Chang’an Avenue Subdistrict recently.
The subdistrict introduced that the 224 advertising plaques belong to 131 business stores and they have removed 17 advertising plaques with an area of 3,800 square meters so far. After the completion of the removing work, the district will replan the advertising plaques to promote the urban environmental quality in the Xidan area.
In addition, Xicheng District will standardize the advertising plaques on the Xidan Shopping Street. It will urge substandard businesses to carry out self-removing work and regulate the order of business operations on the Xidan Shopping Street.
