Recently, Beijing’s first small fire station was inaugurated and put into operation at the Da’an Community of Dashilar Subdistrict of Xicheng District.

The station has 17 full-time fire fighters and professional fire-fighting equipment like electric vehicles, four-wheel fire motorcycles and facilities for demolition, lighting, and rescue.

The station can timely ensure the fire safety in the narrow cottage areas or hutongs and once the fire breaks out, the station’s fire fighters will arrive at the scene of the fire in the shortest time.
