The first exhibition center of elderly-care goods officially opened at the north gate of Dongba Country Park in Chaoyang district, Beijing on December 8, 2016.
The center has an exhibition hall of elderly-care goods on the first floor and a training room of elderly-care goods on the second floor. The exhibition hall is divided into two areas, including the exhibition of various elderly-care goods for daily use on the left and the demonstration zone of goods and rehabilitation venues on the right.
It is learned that the center displays more than 500 kinds of elderly-care goods, such as tableware, crutches, electric care beds, mobile toilets, electric shifting machines and nursing wheelchairs.
In the exhibition hall, several elders are exercising upper limbs in front of a television. A staffer at the center introduced that they are actually playing a rehabilitation game called “hahabo”, which is developed by the center for the elderly. This game allows elders to take exercise while playing games and seeing themselves in the screen.

In addition, the center also provides the services of transforming bedrooms and living rooms for the elderly. Elders who are interested in can call 96083, the elderly-care services hotline of Chaoyang district, to experience, lease or purchase the goods in the center.
