Renmin University of China Graffiti Wall consists of two sections, including one outside the school and the other inside. Located at Renda South Street, the graffiti wall outside the school was created by nearly 400 volunteers in November, 2005 to celebrate the 1,000 days’ countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympics. The wall was painted with graffiti works themed “Olympics come to us” and later it was named as “Beijing Wall” by Haidian District government. The graffiti wall inside the school is located at the school’s south wall and is mainly painted by the school’s students.
